A weeks notice is highly unusual for me 
A 2 hour notice is more common.
I’m going to run the Ridge again on Friday July 23rd, now that I had a chance to verify trail conditions. Looking for a 0730 start time.
It will be an All-Day run. Trailhead is hour from Vegas. Pack your lunch and if anyone interested in dinner later, we can set that up too.
If you are crunched for time you can Run the Ridge Trail then split. I will riding the Golden Valley Desert looking for my Burro friends. You will have the opportunity to jump in the River if you like.
OP-SEC- Due to the remote nature of the area and that it’s not on any maps/apps you will be requested to wear a BILINDFOLD to and from the Trailhead
I have 2 seats remaining in my Raptor if you don’t want to take yours.
Possible Raptor Damage - Always possible but Highly Unlikely. I cleaned up most of the tight spots along the ridge.
Only other hazards are when you open it up on the single track in some great spots, you have to be cognizant of the scrub brush slapping your mirror at 60mph and breaking it ( been there
) Otherwise it’s a very clean run.
So if your in the Vegas Area in that time frame give me a shout and come along
