oh. its so far away for you isnt it? 3.5hrs? better pack a weeks worth of supplies on that journey. theres no excuse. you are coming.
Got this trip planned out and will be there, taking the Raptor R. One of my sons decided to go with me and going to take the next week off too. Showing my plans so if anyone thinks there is something better to see or go to, I am all ears.
Drive to Lander, 16hrs.
July 30th - 31st
Drive from Southwest Missouri into Nebraska and drive until we want to get some sleep
Drive to Lander WY on Thursday and either head out to the camping spot if people are going to be there Thursday evening?
Or spend the night at a motel in Lander and head out to the event on Friday morning.
August 1-3
Wyoming trip until Sunday. Would like to do more on Sunday as saw it was optional.
Spend the night in Lander on Sunday.
August 4th
Monday drive to Tooele Utah to go to the Raptor R Assault course. Monday night is the dinner and course on Tuesday.
August 5th
Tuesday evening drive south to Bryce Canyon but will be stopping before getting there to spend the night somwhere along the way.
August 6th
Wednesday, see Bryce Canyon then head to Moab and spend the night
August 7th
Thursday, do some easy/med trails around Moab, not interested in rock crawling. Thinking Shafer, Mineral bottom, Long Canyon, Gemini. Not really sure, not sure what is decent in a Raptor?? Would really like to meet other raptors if we can plan it so not on the trails alone? Thoughts?
Spend the night in Moab on Thursday.
August 8th
Trek back home, heading to Denver and beyond. Would like to get into Kansas to spend the night.
August 9th
Make it home
