16016954932164665124616234660312.jpgThank You to Krazy House Customz, Finishing Touch Powdercoat and Seaside Superbikes. This 1/4" steel brace kit is really nice, especially if you launch it a big way. I was testing my truck, and learned out the hard way how weak the frame mounts at the lower control arms are on these trucks...Tried to match the King Blue Anodized Struts..16016954932164665124616234660312.jpg

good move

did you consider weld in plates?
Yes I did. I would have considered it, however the plates are only 3/16" and this kit (all 1/4" steel and braced), for $700, braces the weakest links together, and once installed get rid of the Lower Control Arms hanging lower than any portion of the frame. It was a no brainer to me, however I understand that everyone has their right to opinion and I respect that. I almost ripped both sides off (lower control mounts) off of a 5ft kicker, took out my bumper lower, skidplate, and felt like this was the best option for my driving style. Thanks for the question.

Looks solid.

Throw some more pictures up once you get it installed.

ya I think you bought a great kit, just interesting to expose other options, it could be argued that if you strengthen the mounts this much then a big hit could move the force downstream which means bending the frame
