Yep love the sound with the adaptors and DP’s just mean enough when you want it to almost sounds like straight pipes after it spools up.

SPD adapters and Kooks Green Catted downpipes with Kooks mid section (one small muffler and a resonator on each side). Crazy loud but absolutely love it.

Not sure how you figure there will be no performance gains from removing a more restrictive exhaust and putting on something less restrictive, but ok. You will usually see about 10% gains, some may vary

If you refer to this thread: https://www.fordraptorforum.com/thr...m-the-exhaust-look-no-further-no-drone.68724/ you'll see that you can literally see through the OE Muffler. That's why there is no gains to be had from an Exhaust. Downpipes, yes, but then you have the possibility of a CEL.

Welcome to the angry Honda club. Founding member here.

I have the Kooks 3" down pipes with the SPD turbo adapters. I cannot even think about a adding an aftermarket cat back to this set up. It would be stupid loud and obnoxious.

It sounds okay at idle and mild throttle around town. Even moderate throttle application (loading the engine) in normal mode results in straight up ricer with a fart can muffler noises.

It sounds okay-ish (less embarrassing, almost motorsporty) in sport mode when you get on it. Somehow sport mode changes the exhaust note.

Not bashing your mods, just agreeing with others and sharing my first hand experience. Interested to hear your videos, actually.

Sorry for the hijack, but @hammer73 do you have any videos posted anywhere with the Kooks mid pipes?

Still planning to do that. Tried the iPhone but the audio recording is horrible because of the automatic gain control. I’ll try with a GoPro and post here at FRF when done.
