Key Fob ?

Valet park, do I leave the fob with attendant?
Car wash, leave it in the console?

Valet mode in the sync 3 just locks the screen correct?

I thought I read somewhere if the fob is left inside the vehicle it can not be locked.

When you valet the car just leave the fob with the attendant. I know you cannot lock the door with the fob inside by pressing the button on the door handle, but I am not sure if you can lock it with a second key fob if one is inside.

yes....you leave it in the car.

No...you can't lock the car with the traditional door lock button......but you can use the door keypad to lock it with the keys in the center console. (press last 2 numbers at the same time)

In most cases, a valet will not lock the keys in the car, they take them to the stand.

Car wash, can be tricky. In my SHO, the outside keypad was the soft touch piano black kind. and water would activate the locks.

Going hiking and don't want to carry your keys and possibly lose them?....just lock them in the car!
I just leave the fob in a cup holder at the carwash...
The outside keypad set up is pretty cool...

Use a farad bag and it will neutralize key
