Just got my truck yesterday, I'm curious if anyone has experience with HF and noise with a Gen 1.
I prefer mobile HF and pulled all my gear from my Jeep to migrate to the truck. I plan to run an all band, all mode with two coax runs. One for 440, 220, 2M. The other for HF.
My HF setup on the Jeep had the antenna bas le about 5 feet from the ground, placing the tip near 9 feet. I was able to work Europe and NZ from Ohio with it. But I had to do a ton of bonding.
