Hi Everyone,

I’m new to the forum and just purchased a 2014 and anxiously awaiting its arrival to Texas from Chicago.

I traded in a 2013 911 Carrera which was my daily driver for the Raptor. With only 17k miles it’s barely been used.

Dealership Pics Below

Any advice on anything?

Favorite Raptor color!

However, not a fan of the rims, would probably punt the rims/tires and replace with a 17" rim. Either way, congrats on your purchase and welcome to FRF.

The best Gen1 Raptor color, but it always looks white in pictures. I've been thinking of either line-x or painting my fenders but can't decide.

Thanks to all. I agree on the color being the best but gotta disagree with those that said to put 17” wheels back on it.

The 20’s look 1 million times better. In fact they are one of the reasons I purchased this particular truck.

Still plenty of usable sidewall for any off-roading that I ever plan on doing.

The good thing is I bet it has never been off road :)
I agree it needs the grill back to stock and some different wheels. It looks like a clean truck.

Ditto on the wheels, ditch the 20’s or trade it in for a GEN2 then 20’s seem to be a cool thing to do. You want rubber especially when you air down when off-roading, not more metal.

Check the undercarriage and maybe get it treated. Being up north most likely has been through winters and got salt unless it was kept in a garage.

It looks like it might have a lift on it. Check and get it off!

Totally just my opinion but I would have to disagree with almost everyone....I actually really like the wheels and grill. What an awesome color! Congratulations!
