Took a 2nd trip over an extended weekend dodging weather. This time out to Johnson Valley to check it out as my wife and I have never been. This time we drove up Camp Rock Rd into the Rodman Mountains, intersected the Powerline Rd turned left (east) to the Pisgah Crater. Unfortunately the crater was closed! Fun drive regardless.

Did they say why it was closed? Was planning on going there tomorrow.
We drove up to the dude and he just said that they started up mining operations again. No indication as to how long it would be closed though. I also unfortunately didn't get the name of who owns it to give them a call.
