The only aftermarket I would consider would be the trakkmotive extreme angle CVs, but I haven't looked too much into them, personally I think that's a great find on RockAuto, and there is no reason to charge you 5k for all of that, just ridiculous
Ironically the trakkmotive one is listed @ 1/2 the price, but it’s sure as hell “looks” better quality (anti-corrosion finish etc) will have to do a lil research, see attached pic but who knows if actually better quality

I would definitely consider them, I have seen a couple of write ups on here about them. If you are 100% stock front end, I would just stick with oem, but if you are on different perch collars or eibachs or anything like that I would consider swapping

Yeah I am running SVC adjustable collars in front & deaver+3HD rear so about an 1”-1.25” higher in front…not a lot but maybe worth considering (that being said the OEM axles started getting noisy @ 82k miles before I even did the suspension update….maybe that made it worse tho!)

While I see one tramkmotive CV listed as a Raptor specific part - it’s only one side & I’m not 100% certain it’s the right part #, I also see other trakkmotive CVs listed

So what to go w/ on a “budget” Trakkmotive AAR CV’s or these surtrak extended travel ones? Like I said My truck is lifted approx 1.25” in front

Well I had got the trekkmotive from rock auto and not even 2wks after installing everything including the iwe deletes, is it's sitting in front of my friends house 2hrs away from me with both (diff side) cv's broken and gone. No hard Off-Roading just driving it around to find any issues with the truck since I put them on along with a set of Carbon Shock Tech c/o's. So went to go to home depot (2hrs from my town) last night and about half way to home depot, it starts to dump snow, so i made sure i was below 45mph (35mph) and switched to 4 wheel high and did great... out of the snow i switched back to 2wd and about 20miles later on the fwy it felt like a flat tire, followed by grinding and something coming off the truck. We'll i pull over and check it out and find the passenger side axle Is steaming and busted. Limped to by friends house and now can't source a trailer wide enough to get my truck back home (92inches wide). Today brought my trailer and stock f150 wheels in hopes to get it on the trailer which is 84inches wide between fenders and while changing the drivers Side wheel, I noticed that the drivers Side was busted as well. So I don't know what caused this to happen. Cause I got those axles for the fact of extended travel. Shafts ard nice and beefy but just not sure about why this happened.

So a quick thought... (question),
With the iwe delete... does the truck need to be stopped to put it in 4wd high, like when shifting into 4wd low? Or can you still engage 4wd at speeds upto 45mph?
