Is this tailgate stock?

Hi everyone,

recently ordered a lead foot raptor and waiting to take delivery.

I have never seen one in-person.

Is this black tailgate stock? or has it been modified?

Yeah, that tailgate appears to be stock - lead foot gray with the black applique. However, the pumper and exhaust are not.

What's a pumper? Sounds interesting.

If you look real close you can see it's mounted inside the bumper. You can just barely see it through the lightening holes. Good eye John! It's the "Raptor 2000" pump, top of the line!



OP, serious answer, it's stock. The big "FORD" is on a plastic piece mounted to the gate. It's called an "applique" and comes standard on a Raptor, or you can delete it at no cost. It's a small line item on the Ford build site.
