Interior dome lights pulse

I’m noticing on my recently purchased 2019 that the interior lights stay on and pulse as the vehicles is running. I prefer having the lights come on when I open my doors, and although that function works, they don’t seem to turn off unless I shut off my vehicle. Is this a grounding/wiring issue? Can it be easily rectified or is this better suited for Ford Service? Thanks!

Check the interior lamp bulbs. The previous owner may have swapped them out with aftermarket bulbs.

If the lamps blink steadily, that’s a sign that the Body Control Module configuration is incomplete.
