How in the world are those going to clear anything?!?

I run 4.56 gears with 37s and think that is perfect match. It's actually geared a little lower than stock.

Assuming 39.5 vs. 34.5, 4.88s would actually be geared a little lower than stock, as well. That's the route I would go.

I was hoping somebody knew the math heh, I took a stab at it and came up close to 4.88 but wasn't sure it was right.

I know I’ve got to hammer the pinch weld , also trimmed part of the bumper , so you guys recommend 4.88 as max ? Iam thinking 4.56 but Iam not sure of those are enough

Thanks

If it was mine yes definitely 4.88 over 4.56. And I'd try to cycle the suspension and make sure, looks like you already have glass but from what I've read at full bump you're going to have issues against the cab even after hammering the pinch welds and trimming the bumper...how much you need to hog out depends on the wheel offset and the actual tire diameter...

Good luck and keep us posted!

Yeah I ran the math real quick for you. A 39.5" tire is 14.5% larger in circumference than a 34.5" tire. Meanwhile, the 4.88 gears are 18.7% lower than the stock 4.11s. So you are actually going to have effective gearing that is 4% lower than stock. That's what I would do.

I think the 5.13s are going to be overkill. Plus they will be weaker due to the size of the pinion gear. And they also tend to be more noisy.

Just my two cents.

Thank you guys really appreciate the help and support , I’am going with 4.88 maybe G2 nitro or the Yukon , just to make sure I purchase the correct part since this is new to me , do I choose 4.88 8.75 or the 9.75? [emoji28][emoji28]
