So every time I go to check my oil at a gas station, there is never enough light. in particular, I find it difficult to get the dipstick back in the tube.

I went to Wally World (was-mart) and bought some cheap LED lights that just stick onto what ever surface you need.

Wired them to AUX switch 6, and now I have light for checking the oil.

Here it is off.

Here it is on.

It came with two, so I put the second one on the passenger side to give light at the fuse box in case I ever needed it.

Nice, you probably could have wired up a led strip from Amazon or maybe even Walmart and affixed it to the hood to illuminate your entire engine bay if you got stuck on the side of the road somewhere and needed more light too. Now ya got me thinking

6’5” no issues
Haven’t thought about it, the extension to the oil stick.

Amazon does have some superfly LEDs and they work great
