GEN 2 If you just want a little more sound from the exhaust, look no further (no drone).

so i had my shop weld me a 3” x pipe in place of stock muffler (like 2EF from AWE), it was way too loud.

Put the stock muffler back on, it was quite like stock.. haha

So i called Magnaflow since they have D-fit muffler kit in production but it is not out yet (July-August 19 ETA). So i asked Magnaflow if i can just buy the muffler and weld one on myself, he said to get 12468 (3”dual in dual out, 18” Magnaflow x pipe muffler), and today I installed it on the truck.

Still has stock resonator, just a tad louder than stock. Definitely noticeable difference from the stock, but really not much of difference.

So thank me later and just order that muffler from Magnaflow (i ordered from Amazon warehouse deal for $52 shipped overnight). Paid my local mandrel bend shop $180 (he used 3” S-S piping to match the Magnaflow, if you are in MD, i can recommend the shop in Glen Burnie).

Super happy with the result, my iphone really cant get good videos, but i can assure you its no where near attack or s type from Borla, or Corsa, its quite, but still a little more louder, which what I was trying to achieve (also the whole thing installed only set you $250 TOP).

Note: stock suitcase muffler is actually a true straight thru 2.75” with LOTS of baffles.

Guessing the 19346 kit removed the stock resonator and this kit retains it? I read the 19346 drones like crazy. Is the new d fit a different muffler? I will probably call them this week to find out

Lol its really stock in that vid. Yes so this retain stock resonator versus their “kit” removes it. This one has 14” muffled x pipe, and mine is even more quite bc using 18” muffled x pipe.

 

I spoke to Magnaflow the 19346 full cat back removes the factory resonator and uses an 18 in muffler, the 19465 d fit kit retains the stock resonator but uses a smaller 14 in muffler. According to magnaflow the full cat back has less rasp than the d-fit. Nothing new for the raptor is in the pipeline.

that Magnaflow part number 12468 indicates it's 2.5" in and out, not 3"
