Icon 2.25" IVD gained 3.75"?

ok.. So what did the shop do wrong or do these kits generally list a size but end up not being accurate?

I opted for the 2.25" option, did before and after measurements and gained 3.75" upfront and now it looks terrible and rides stiffer that I anticipated. Going to have to have it torn back down but I am just a tad disapointed .. Generally an extra inch is great! not in this case.

Are you talking option 2 for the leaf springs right?
Did the shop give you a spare leaf to go home with? If you do not have a spare leaf then you are probably sitting in option 3 which will yield you about 3"+ of height gain. They settle very little too.

Sounds like you've got the extra leaf in for 3". That 3" is with 500ish lbs on the bed so empty would be around 3.5-3.75"
