Hey FRF!​

My Raptor journey started during early 2020 covid when I was looking to trade in my 2015 Tacoma. The Raptor was always a dream vehicle however the price point wasn't something I desired. After looking at the summary of what it would cost to build a Gladiator or 3rd-gen Tacoma, I wasn't too far off the cost of a Raptor. The same day I saw the numbers I went to test drive one and pulled the trigger. The dealer was in need of sales and inventory which was to my advantage. They overpaid for my Built Tacoma and discounted my 802A heavily. I lucked out on both ends.

Fast Forward to the present day, I help run the Florida Raptor Runs group as well as curate and manage all the content on our socials.

1 week after ownership, it was time for the first mod, Tint

Sidenote, prior to my purchase, the dealer installed Rough Country Pods in the open inserts and a Raptor vanity plate

I kept the vanity plate for a bit then ditched it

Next on the list was paint protection. My first go-to was PPF but after some sticker shock, I went with the next best option, ceramic coating.

Fortunately, there was a shop less than a block from my place and after a 15 min talk with the owner, he give me a substantial discount if I produced a video for him to use on social media.

I was without my Raptor for 4-5 days, however, it was well worth the investment.

After binge-watching some EXO videos on YouTube, I set out to find a Raptor Group local to me.

With some quick Facebook searching, I found the Florida Raptor Runs Page.

Little did I know at the time, how involved in the group I would be.

If you own a Raptor and have never been on a Run, I highly encourage you to do so. The capability of these trucks is unlike anything I can describe.

At first, I was cautious but the more comfortable I got, the more I pushed it, the more I started to see I was barely touching its full potential

hahaha yes... currently with paint-matched fenders and 22's (hate calling out the size of the rim haha)...since I'm starting this late, I'm trying to post everything in chronological order to show the build process​
