wow... old thread... look who the OP was and who the second to post was.
This one hits one way back.

After driving around for almost three years with two pinkish-white Red Letter tires, I am very happy to report the $3.48 fix works as reported above. Here is what my truck looked like before with one Red Letter in the back and one pinkish-white in the front. (same issue on the other side)

After using Black Magic Bleche Wite and a scrub brush: ($3.48 at Walmart)

It is not as Red as when they were new, but this is the most Red they have looked in more than 4 years.

Thanks to Jordan, I saved myself $96.50 by NOT turning my wheels to Black side out.

I think you are correct. I thought they had faded to pink for good, but only the top layer turned the lighter color. Someone commented they thought the color was all the way through on the "red letter" patch and I agree with them now.

I wished I had found the "magic" spray a couple of years ago!
