LOL, it took two guys 2 1/2 hrs. at a spring shop to do mine for $200 (and thats because I told them NO TORCH!!!)

It would have taking me all day by myself out in the driveway. Screw that!!!! Money well spent. IMO

Thanks for this write up. I used it today for my own Deaver install.

One thing I would recommend emphasizing, is when you’re installing the new leaf springs under the truck be sure to attach the shackle side first then rotate the shackle and spring toward the rear and attach the front hanger bolt.

I didn’t have a fancy truck lift, I used floor jacks and jack stands. But I found by attaching the front hanger bolt first, I could not drop the axle low enough to clear and attach the front bolt.

Again thanks for the detailed how to. Definitely referenced it today.
