I found a service through a local used car dealer. $150 per wheel. Look like new afterward. Grind, fill & paint to a perfect match. I fix old cars and used them several times.

Anyone on this thread have any luck doing the DIY? I used my Raptor for it's intended purpose and a wheel paid the price. Thinking of just paying for it, but if it can save me $$$, I'm willing to give it a shot.

Only thing I can think of - protect the surrounding area and weld up the gouge.

Clear over the wheel afterwards.

Could be a pricey fix so maybe use as the spare.

I’ve watched more DYI videos on wheel repair than you can shake a stick at. Unless you have experience or are talented, fughedaboutit.

And as @smurfslayer said, ita a battle scar, perhaps first of many more.

In a former Gen2 I owned I hit a huge boulder I parked next to. Forgot it was there. Gouged the heck out of the wheel. Looked, got pissed for the moment, and never bothered me again, nor the dealer who took it in trade. He never noticed.
