Just took my truck to the dealer for the first oil change, and they can't access the filter with the ADD stealth fighter front bumper on. Anyone know the easiest way to access the oil filter?

Never thought of this issue. Putting my stealth R on today hopefully. I would give ADD a call. they've been pretty helpful on the phone with questions like this

Theres got to be someone else with this bumper. Is this a major issue or just a nuisance?

I haven't done an oil change yet, but when I installed it, it looks like you can easily get to the oil filter once the lower skid plate is removed....

Sounds like a dealer excuse to not do it or charge more to me. I have a ADD Stealth bumper and its a bit of a nuisance to get to the filter, but its not that bad. Stock skid plate with the access plate is definitely easier tho.

So those that have changed their own oil with this bumper, how are y’all getting to the filter and drain plug? Thx in advance.

Just changed my oil Friday. Open the hood and you can reach the filter. I’m short and I still reached no problem. For the drain plug you have to remove a really small part of the skid plate, it’s three bolts. Don’t remove the entire skid just the small skid that’s below the drain plug. Took me awhile to figure out the filter part. Hope this helps
