232k miles, I have been chasing a intermittent TSS sensor fault that was causing erratic and harsh shifts and causing the transmission to hang in second or third gear.
I replaced the transmission valve body control unit and added a performance automatic deep transmission pan and a dipstick kit.
Seems to have fixed the issue after updating the solenoid strategy with ForScan and completing the adaptive learning drive test and 80+ miles since completing.
Thankful for a heated shop and lift to get this done over the weekend.

Passed 250k last weekend. Rotated the tires and discovered I need new front brake pads. I was like what?!? Didn’t I just replace those? Just looked it up and I did replace them……80,000 miles ago!

Just recently handed my 2012 off to my son for his daily driver with 100,000 miles. Had the differential, transmission and coolant serviced along with original belt replaced.

He decided to blow some of his hard earned cash by having Ford install the Stainless Works long tube header kit with high flow cats, a Roush catback exhaust and purchased the 5 Star Tunes.

Sounds like a pissed off dragon when he starts it up in the morning for school…..neighbors love us.

first major problem had some rocker arms go bad. The little pluger on the valve side got weak. And have some damage to the cam. Anyone have an idea on what could cause this type of damage? Maybe the lobe and rocker roller having slack between them?

replaced all rockers but left the cam because of necessity. Truck runs great still. KOW. Just some rattle when cold start al low temperatures

Bbk trottle body, s and b cold air, msd coils and wires, kooks long tube headers and high flow cats, full race aluminum radiator and oversized trans cooler, tunes from 5 star.

367k!!! That's awesome. In my quest for replacing valve springs I came across one old post here on FRF that mentioned those rocker tips collapsing but there was never any explanation or elaboration (this was from like '11 and I think warranty just replaced the rocker assemblies). What was your symptoms, just noisy? Still factory valve springs?
