Another set of clues is the throttle body on my gen 3 is black. I believe the stage 1 was gray/silver. Also the Stage 2 pulley is 3.250 while the stage 1 was a 3.5 I think. Also the coolant fill was on the passenger side right next to the oil dipstick.IMG_6432.jpegIMG_6429.jpeg

I was barely able to see the serial number, called Whipple and they confirmed its a Gen3 Supercharger. Which is great news, granted a Gen4 would have been nice but my understanding is the difference between the Gen3 vs Gen4 is minimal.

Now to get the exhaust and tune sorted.

My Borla headers have a tag on them that I can see in engine bay from above on passenger side.

Thank you. I'll take a closer look from the top tomorrow. It doesn't look like Borla sells them anymore. Do you know if they had an uncoated option? Based on the corrosion, mine don't look to be stainless or ceramic coated.

Unfortunately, I can't find any info of them ever even making headers for a Raptor. I'm just glad this one came with them.

Similar to what others have said, any of the decent header brands will have a metal tag/logo welded to the headers indicating the brand. If the headers are ceramic coated they’ll usually have a shiny silver finish or a satin or matte dark finish depending on the coating used. Below is a pic of my coated Stainless Works headers for comparison. Also, you can contact Stainless Works if that’s the brand you have and they now offer high flow cat options equivalent to the Kooks Green cats since they also use GESI as their cat supplier now.

Also, no need to remove the PCM to get the strategy or other PCM info codes. Just use your SCT X4 or whatever tuning device you have paired with the truck to pull those details. Since your truck is tuned, it’s likely that the strategy code etc. printed on the PCM stickers are no longer accurate.

On an SCT X4 or similar device, you can connect it and find the PCM details under vehicle info or something similar. Below is an example from mine. It’s also good to save these details for convenient access as they’ll be needed for any future tune revisions especially if you switch tuners and get a new tune for some reason.

The problem I have is the previous owner didn't have the tuner...not sure why. Which means I get to drop $1k on a new tuner and tunes and another $2k on some green cats.

Woot woot!

It's a good thing I was able to get a decent deal on the truck.
