So awhile back I did a audio system upgrade in my Raptor. Won't bore you with all of the specs but two of the components are the NavTV and Helix mini DSP 3S. I have a flash drive with my music for playing music in my Home Theatre system that also supports Hi-RES music files. I play those files on the Oppo 205-UHD and have ripped some SACD's to a USB drive for easy playback. I hate getting up to load different disc.

So anyhow I took that same flash drive and the files are being read through the USB port of the Ford Sync system. It played the files just fine. Are these files really playing back in Hi-Res Audio or are they being down sampled? They sounded great, just didn't know if its because of the new DSP or Ford Sync. Anyone try this? By the way I am running the newer module with a USB-C port, the Ford OEM part.

I wish I could load videos. Then you could listen.

here, on frf
it does play back in higher bitrate. take the same music and put them as an mp3 format. you will hear the difference. also tuning the dsp is the most crucial part
