Ok, here is what I have. I want to use the stock spot light switch to power a pair of BD rock lights that will sit under my race mirrors. I know I can’t wire them directly because that will throw a code and kill the switch so it will not turn on. My question is this. Can I wire the switch directly to the battery so I can bypass the CBM? I know what each pin does and I also know if I can get power to the switch and bypass the CBM in theory everything should work.
I have a picture of pin assignment, my plan is to de-pin # 1 & 6 and run them directly to the battery. Doing this will bypass the CBM and should make the switch work like stock. Any ideas on why this should/ shouldn’t work will be appreciated. Thank you.
