Afternoon,

I’m new to the group and looking for advice on headers and down pipes for my 2011 SVT. Motor has stage 2 roush kit, 75mm pulley, injectors and oil cooler.

I have Stainless Works long tubes and and true duals, been on 9 years now, lol, I think I noticed a bit of a drone at first, but don't anymore. There is probably a few threads on here about headers. Some will say you don't need headers with a S/C, but choice is yours.

The Ford exhaust manifolds on these V8's are actually well designed and flow well. The HP gain is so small with header upgrades it almost isn't worth the cost. Especially if you already have a S/C. We also have a Roush Stage 3 Mustang also, and even Roush left the stock exhaust manifolds on the car.

Ditto on the SW headers, true dual exhaust. 10 yrs going strong.

I’ve got a ‘14 Roush, installed Stainless Works headers myself with Corsa Exhaust. For the trouble and $, if I had to do over again I’d reinvest that money into something else. Not enough bang for the buck, IMO. If you are having them installed, I personally would definitely not put that much money into this upgrade.

I have stainless power headers on my Roush Stage 2 SC. I noticed a quicker response in the throttle and cleaner. I say its worth it. I went with 1"-7/8" but if I were to do it again I would go 1-3/4". I had smaller pipes on my first 6.2 and the low end torque was much better than the 1-7/8".
