i installed the 1 3/4” with no cats x pipe. i unbolted the starter, motor, and transmission mount to move the powertrain around. ratchet wrenches helped. i would replace the motor mounts while you are in there. i also ceramic coated the headers to minimize heat. i sprayed the gaskets with copper spray and used anti seize grease everywhere. i think i would have saved time if i had unbolted the intake manifold so i can move the engine around much easier. the intake is real easy to take off and you have to be careful not to smash it into the fire wall.

much of the sound change will be based on what exhaust you plan on running. mufflers, true dual, y pipe, off road mid pipes, etc. performance depends on what other mods you have. are you getting a dyno tune or a email flash? the tq increase IMO is definitely noticeable around cruising speed.
