Has anybody else received the tailgate recall?

I got a recall letter for the tailgate opening on its own. I've never heard of the issue and hadn't seen anyone post about this.

Yes I received it Thursday, I wasn't aware it was an issue as well.

I've never seen it mentioned and never got anything about it from Ford. Even after I just searched only a single post came up and it was about 2018's only. You were just in the mood to insult my goats!

I got it. I believe it is similar to the cam phaser customer satisfaction program.
It extends the warranty. See…I can read…I’m not as dumb as I look.

I haven’t had any issues with my tailgate but I plan on a visit to the dealer.

I saw rumblings that a later in the year repair would be possibly worth pursuing - I think they revise the harness ? @FordTechOne had insight on this before.
