Grinding noise on startup 2017 3.5L Raptor

My 2017 makes the same noise. Curious; did you have the dealer check yours? I haven't been too concerned, but will ask the dealer about it when I am in next.

I just had them document my concern. After reading on here and hearing so many others do it, I figured its better to leave it alone than attempt to mess with it.

I did have them update the computer, which the trucks shifts so much better now because of! I think noise is still there, although havent heard it lately.

Injection pump maybe?

i dont think injection pumps make a grinding noise like that. it would be more of an air pump.
