Walked by my raptor and noticed this ding at the top of my tailgate. Not sure how it happened or how long it’s been there but I’m pretty upset about it. Is this an easy fix? I don’t know much about body repair. Anything else I can do to cover it up?

Maybe try dentless repair, but thats a pretty strong area of the gate.

yeah, it looks like the gate dropped into something or something fell on to it. I know it hurts, but... well, how do I say this?

    it’s a TRUCK. A Ford Truck.

    she’ll be ok.

I’m hopeful it won’t be expensive to repair.

I’m pretty sure a good paintless dent repair guy can fix that.

I have used dentless repair several times. A good one can work miracles. Look for ratings. I have seen it first had on every used car I bought. I HATE those little dents.

Agreed, Explore Paintless Dent guys in your area. They did wonders on my Gen 1. Even my extreme OCD could not tell after they were done.

It almost looks like something fell on it or someone hit it with something narrow. You can see it also left a mark on the plastic tailgate cap. Hopefully it won’t cost much to fix. It would drive me crazy.

Door dings sucks, tailgate dings tell the world you're a working man so embrace it.

Paint less dent repair can fix- or you can do nothing & look like a badass....

best thing bout our trucks? Never have a dent or ding that’ll rust, which Is something an F150 has in common w/ a supercar- pretty cool. (Obviously other vehicles have AL
Body panels here & there- but the only other full AL bodied vehicles
I know of are very high end luxury or supercars)
