Salvage title (or branded title in some states) entirely relates to a specific incident with each vehicle. I have owned a couple branded vehicles. No “regerts”.

I have a Raptor that was sold to me with a branded title. Ford buyback program that occurred on my 2018 when the original owner had it in the shop several times for cam phasers.
As we know now, that’s not really a catastrophic event.

I got mine at about a $8k discount from the market rate when it had 38k miles. I will probably have to take some form of haircut on price when (if ever) I sell it.

Love my truck - runs strong and fast at 85k miles. No plans to sell.

BTW - my note above wasn’t advocating for the deal he is considering. Price seems way too high to me, and the OP didn’t mention the reason for the branded title.

I've owned several Salvage title trucks over the years. Each time I thought that I had totally researched them, with before and after pictures ect. Each time I have regretted that too good to be true price.
This truck doesn't even have the too good to be true price.
Also, with all of the floods that have occurred in the recent past, its a good chance that this truck could have been wet. The Raptor is a very technically complicated truck and water is its mortal enemy.

You'll regret it!
