GEN 2 getting my OEM shocks rebuilt today at Forged Offroad

all nice and shiny again, they replaced the lower bushings as well - rides like it's brand new!

Are those OEM bolts? They look like a different coating... Don't want them to rust to hell.

they're new Grade 8 bolts, they had a large stack of them in the office

Those will rust in a corrosive environment. I would not use those on my truck. I have seen this with similarly marketed bed bolts as well. The aftermarket has a tendency to not take corrosion into account like the OEM does. If its never subjected to a corrosive enviroment (salt/snow) I'm guessing there wont be an issue, but I'm super aware of this living in MI.

Getting mine done next week. Driving from Vancouver Island to Baja and stopping at Forged Offroad along the way for a swap on the front. Adding some Eibachs at the same time. Rear shocks were replaced with new about 6K ago
