Gen2 Side mirror Camera turned black

My right side mirror camera just turned black yesterday on my 2017 scab when I put the truck in reverse (360 view). Can any one tell me what happened to it, do I need to replace the camera, would the extended Warranty cover it? All the other camera works fine.
