Gen 1 Styling is better than Gen 2, my opinion.

I may be bias because I own a Gen 2 and never owned Gen 1, but I feel opposite. The biggest thing to me is the front end difference. Gen 2 looks more square. More old school. Not a fan of the curved Gen 1 hood. Of course that's just my opinion and only matters to me. Both are badass looking though.

I agree and have felt that way since it debuted. Our flows like one total piece but the gen2 seems to have several pieces that were slapped on but don't have the same beast look ours does. Just doesn't stand out as much either. Doesn't really matter as long as the gen2 guys like it but bad for those of us who kind of wanted one of each

Gen2 design lead to team:
OK here's what we need-
We need a fake baja style bumper so it looks like a Raptor.
We need some vents on the fenders so it looks like a Raptor.
We need a big FORD letters in the grille so it looks like a Raptor.
We need a silver skid plate up front so it looks like a Raptor.
We need fender flares that are grey so it looks like a Raptor.
We need black urethane coated running boards so it looks like a Raptor.
Etc, etc.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery they say...
