I find it very curious that we’ve ...still... not seen final power numbers published by Ford given trucks are now being shipped. Sure we’ve seen reports that “Ford has confirmed power numbers” from 3rd parties, but nothing from Ford. Why? Ford HAS stated the G3 trucks will be powered by the HO flavor of the 3.5 Eco Boost, and Ford has stated that the new trucks will have higher compression and revised power curves. Is Ford still waiting for power certifications before publishing? If it’s still a carry-over 450/510 motor I would think that certs would have been a non-issue and happened by now. Given that, does it suggest higher ratings? It makes no sense to me..... but many things are making little sense to me with the G3’s. ??.

So, essentially the small battery in PB is adding 30 HP and 70 trq when it’s in full charge.

It is really too bad that they didnt give us a small bump in hp/tq via a factory tune.
Some folks are gonna tune it anyway for more power so why bother with such a small bump? To stroke egos? If you sit tight, there May be an even bigger bump coming; hold off on this version if it’s not to your liking. Just my 2 pennies.

It was just wishful thinking, Gen 2 sold and I was given a VIN and production week for the Gen3. Hopefully can get my hands on an R when they become available to order but I bet it will be hard to avoid an ADM on those.

A small bump would have been better than no bump at all and a nice bump could even negate the need for a tune. Unfortunately, based on some information in the Gen 3 performance sub-forum, tuning might be a problem, hopefully not though as the tune in the Gen 2 was nice to have.

Curious to know with the torque coming in at a lower RPM and new suspension if the 0-60 time is any better. Also think it is a little strange they wouldn’t be flexing that anyways.
