Gen 2 OE rear shocks on gen 1

    Anybody know if this would work or is this a bad idea.... just wondering since gen 2 oe shocks seem to be coming up for sale with little to no mileage

    I've seen a set or two on RDC. Way too expensive just to pick up for dicking around purposes.

    Yeah $2k is more than i'd want to spend just to see if they'd work/what it'd take to make them work

    Absolutely true - but with some of the money spent on folks trucks and creativity/determination (we've seen totaled trucks resurrected...just because). I wouldn't/couldn't justify doing it, but there might reasonably be some who would.
