Anyone else have experience with the TOD TC swap. Still don’t think anyone has answered the hill descent question?

You know the 3.5L with the turbos on it weight just over 500+ lbs.
80 +/- lbs. is not that much of a difference,
but I do concede that 80 lbs. extra over the front axle is not great.
3.5 is 417 lbs complete. 6.2 is 580lb. So a 163lb difference, which quite significant, especially over the front end of a high speed off road Baja truck.

Where are they getting these weights?
I understand there are 1st and 2nd gens on these engines, is this the case?

Those appear to just be random estimates ; I would not consider “dust runners auto” or “vintage-mustang” to be reliable sources of information. The numbers I posted are directly from the Ford Workshop Manual.

Maybe.
How is it that you have 4x4 Auto under the 4" info screen?
Remember the 2010 1/2 doesn't even have select shift, the BCM is different and doesn't have the little 4" info screen in the dash.
But sure wish someone would try it.

Anyone ever determine if the TOD swap can be done on a 2010? I drive a lot on unplowed roads in rural PA and would love 4A on my 2010
