Gen 1 shock question

I bought the seal kits from forged off-road and I’m a little confused
1. I can not get the white bottom seal to seat in the shock head. Is it supposed to be the thick o ring instead and the white is for a different version?

2. I have two different o rings left and have no idea where they go. I posted a picture to show what I’m talking about

Forged is on our forum they should help out. Also call customer service I bet they will help also
