Friction modifier is ONLY used in the front Diff

That would be only for if the front diff has the Torsen. Which in 2010 I don’t believe it did.

It’s in my 2013 supplement. BUT I did try and go through as many threads on the topic as I could, everyone said something different both had facts as to add it or not….. I put it in mine. I apologize if i have out incorrect info.

Correct.. none needed in back since its a E-locker and no clutches. Front 2013 and newer since it has the Torsen Limited Slip.

Torsen differentials do not use friction modifiers. They are a worm gear diff - No clutches to slip.

My first Torsen was in Ford 9" installed in a 66 mustang back in 1983. I was given unit #3 so I was told. That accompanied a Doug Nash 5 speed Unit #2 coupled to a boss 302 short block, Carrillo rods, Ross pistons with my heavily ported Windsor heads, Edlebrock intake and Holley 600 modified to a double pumper with secondary idle adjusters. For the time it was a nice street combo for power to weight ratio. The torsen diff, in my opinion, is the best differential for the money but because of it's design is limited to the amount of torque it can handle.
