This may ruffle some feathers but the front coils that Geiser shipped to a local gen3 owner as their new gen3 specific springs have the same wrap count and part number as my Gen2 2.5" springs.

Interesting. Hopefully they just mixed up the g2/3 springs with g3 specific

Lol. They’re the same spring. Not a bad thing just not gen3 specific.
Supposedly the g2 spring was too stiff for g3 for whatever reason, hence them coming out with a new set. If they just relabeled it as for a different gen it is kind of fishy

I think the confusion is that there is an older option for a 3" geiser that is just way too much spring for any of these trucks, so they released the 2.5" about a year ago with much better results.

With minimal weight difference between gen2 and 3 trucks (some places listing them within 20lbs) I would be absolutely shocked if they changed anything from their existing 2.5" coil. I dont have any doubts they "tested" them and did "R&D" with them before the Gen3 release so i think all we're seeing now is well played marketing. My theory backed up by what they are shipping to Gen2 and Gen3 customers.

If anything it means the good deals out there for any geiser marked with "GEISER-20 SO-140751" is a great find.

Well, we will see what my springs have on them. I ordered earlier in the week

You just got them? How do they ride?
Firmer than stock but happy with them. I reset the height after install and that made them feel better. Just wondering if I got the right springs hah (or if I got the Gen2 3" spring)
