Welcome devil. You may very well get your wish of a no winter build with all the delays we've seen, especially w/37+blue int+pro power

What's wrong with winter builds?
Shouldn't all builds be the same...? I realize in the real world no.
When they ship winter builds sometimes the de-icing salt get sprayed on transport vehicle cars and trucks. If not washed off, this leads to rusted components. Let's just say my 16 lariat was so bad, Ford bought it back. Probably no big deal if you live up north, it's gonna happen. Southern folk in Texas like non-rusty 80k trucks.

This was my 16 60K Lariat with 15 miles on it. I didn't notice the rust until I got it home. Lots of corrosion and rust.

That’s insane! Thanks for posting those pics for reference.
My 18 Raptor was pretty much rust free besides the diff and I bought it from Minnesota. I wouldn't worry about too much. I think Ford is doing a better job than a few years back. All the 21 Raptors I've seen so far have looked painted and rust free. Still hoping for a summer build. :)

That's promising...I received email from Ford yesterday with VIN and build date of 2/28/22 as well.

I ordered 11/5/21 at MSRP for 2022 Raptor with: 801A; Oxford White; Moonroof & tailgate; Pro power 2KW; Engine block heater; Graphics delete; Beadlock-capable wheels; Spray-in bedliner.

Holy Cow. Thats terrible. Glad they bought it back. I had to navigate the buy back program/seek legal counsel on a 2017 Lariat. Ford eventually made it right. How much grief did they give you before agreeing to take back your 2016?

None because I took it back to the dealer the next day. My 14 and 16 RAM Limited got bought back by FCA as well. Lost my *** on those. Never again RAM. All these people wanting to jump ship to TRX, knock yourself out. :banghead:

I ordered mine back in July and just finally got the vin and build date for the 2/28 as well. Mine has the same specs as yours as well. Let’s hope that date really happens.

Out of curiosity for those that received a build date recently, did anyone not originally have a confirmed allocation from the dealer at the time your order was placed? I recently placed an order and received the DORA but my dealer is awaiting new allocations. I know its a lonnnggg wait ahead...

The dealer I went with here in Maine, confirmed allocation availability (7 Raptors for 2022)…at least, that’s what he said.
Where I live, salt and dirt go down on the roads with first snowfall, usually in November. Wanted to avoid a winter delivery to get undercoating, etc.. prior to that salty mudding and just enjoy it for a few months “clean.” Being from Texas, my biggest adjustment to living in the far northeast is the nastiness of winter/winter treatments on a vehicle.
