They certainly look like the standard Fox that come on the truck as far as shape and fit goes, I agree they look painted or coated. With the spot of orange I suspect the coating or painting is coming off. Strange.

It's going into the dealer tomorrow. I'll get their opinion. The truck wheel and cab shakes... will be interesting to get some clarity

almost looks like an undercoating

I am thinking undercoating as well. Looks like it has texture to it.
