Front end pop

Has anyone else experienced a pop coming from the front end whenever you are turning and reversing at the same time? seems to be coming from driver side.

I am also looking for advice on how to replace the cv boot as well. I see people talking about that they have just replaced the boot but i'm not seeing anyone that states how they did it. Also if anyone has apart number for a boot from napa/pep boys/auto zone/ advanced auto parts that would be great. I do not have an orileys by me.
