Bought mine in AZ, ordered it from a dealer, saved a bunch especially on the "Market Adjustment". Flew out on a company business trip, drove it home. I had to get a temp registration in AZ and pay sales tax. When registering it in CA, I had to get the weight certified, do a smog test, and pay the difference in state sales tax.

Still saved a bunch of money and got exactly what I wanted.

Looking at a Raptor out of state as well. Glad to know you don't have to pay the tax twice when registering it in CA after buying it in AZ.

I am assuming the dealer gave you the temp registration when you purchased the car?
