What year did ford upgrade the rear frame and the rear end axle?
In 2013 Ford strengthened the frame.
Any more details on this? I’ve decided that the SVC adjustable bump stop kit is a great idea for my truck, does this equal/exceed the frame upgrade? Any other steps to beefing up the frame? Thanks!
Last paragraph of this article says the frame was double walled in certain spots from 2013+
Read the article...So I have the later beefed up frame (2014)...been looking at the frame upgrades from ADD. Would it still be a good addition or just redundant frame support? My way of thinking is cost/ benefit and not just a gimmick, and if necessary for my use. I’m looking at trail/sport overland travels and remote camping/hunting. Not really a fast speed baja/whoops/jumper guy. I don’t live near a desert.
Probably a waste of money if you don't see whoops or jumps. But the protection might be worth it for that one time you're caught without it
Yep, I thinking the same. Just out loud.
