Fox 3.0 Install

Installing the fronts and there is no mention of using the stock tapered collar that sits on the top of the well of the shock. The supplied bolts aren’t long enough to use this collar. Any thoughts? This is on a Gen 1 but no one seems to be responding over there and my guess is it is the same for the Gen 2. Trying to finish it up.

Not needed. The new 3.0s have a bearing on the top hat that will make the angle correct once bolted in. Sell the shims with ur old shocks and enjoy the new ride
