GEN 1 Ford Performance Rear diff cover and rear diff skid?

I have the ford performance rear diff cover M-4033-F975 on my 2014 raptor, I want the 9.75 diff skid here https://www.foutzmotorsports.com/pr...fferential-skid-plate-kit?variant=38335145231 question is on the drop down menu says 2017+ for the skid that fits the ford performance diff cover, or the rears in 2017 that much different from 2014? or will the skid work on my 2014?

Cover should be the same. I would call Foutz and ask Jake to make sure.
