i see a lot of members are using fluid film or amsoil HD on your springs and or entire undercarriage. Doesn’t this make for a huge mess of dirt sticking when off-roading? I live in the desert southwest, should I even worry about rust? I think we got about 1” of rain the past 12 months.

I guess you could see how it goes, worse case if you get some surface rust, you could paint them and then apply some rust protection. FYI: fluid film is super wet at first, but does dry nicely, not completely but I haven't had any issues with build up driving on gravel roads and stuff, haven't been to the dunes in a bit but never had issues there either. I am meticulous about pressure washing the underside of my Raptor at least once a year, usually 3 or 4 times.
