Flex Step Install

Hey guys,

I have a 22 Gen 3 and I am wanting to know if I can retro fit a Flex Step into my tail gate. I have back issues and it would be nice to have the step on my tailgate. My truck does not have the power gate or the Flex Step.

I was researching the price on a new tailgate with the Flex Step form Ford. Does anyone knw if it possible? I am assuming the tailgate does not come painted.
