We live about an hour from the NC Outer Banks and have a annual pass to drive on the beach. We drove down and got a new sticker issued for the Raptor and took a quick ride on Oregon Inlet. Man, I love this truck!!!!

yeah, I'd say most of the time you are ok. As long as you keep you speed consistent and don't get into anything too soft.

It is just tough on your drive train and engine. Watch your trans temps when you don't air down on the soft sands of the nc beaches.

I will try to catch up with you all sometime. Maybe in the spring. Hunting season is getting ready to start and we are driving to Canada for vacation in the near future. I have a bunch of other stuff on my calendar this fall but would love to meet some other enthusiasts!

I agree with the air down. We just drove to the beach and parked then drove back so I didn't bother but if I were going to spend any time in the sand I would be running 18-20 pounds. Makes a huge difference.
