11 months after picking up my Raptor (and first truck ever) I performed my first tow ever. I'm not going to lie, it was pretty nerve wracking being responsible for a load trailing the truck. I now have nearly 2 hours of towing experience under my belt and while I'm getting slightly more comfortable, I still find myself looking in the rear view often to make sure it's still there. I've found that driving in reverse, is more of an art than a science and I'm still not comfortable enough to pull into parking lots that aren't a wide open area or gas stations quite yet.

The truck itself handles the situation with far less anxiety than I do. The ride is every bit as comfortable and stable with the load as it is without. This comes in at right around 2600lbs IIRC. Stopping distances are a little bit longer, which I expected. I used tow/haul mode and acceleration was effortless.

Now as for my new toy, I picked up a 2018 Kawasaki Teryx 4. While I've only had an opportunity to take it out on the trails once so far, I had a blast doing it! I love my Raptor, but tearing up the trails in this little guy was WAY more fun. Trails that felt exceptionally narrow in the Raptor appear gigantic in this thing, allowing me to open it up and not worry about side swiping a mountain on one side off the cliff on the other. Trail damage/scratches is something I worry about a lot less or not at all. The smaller size makes it less likely to happen and if it does, it probably won't be something I'll feel compelled to repair unless it affects the drivability.

The Raptor should handle your trailer as loaded with no drama at all...it just doesn't weigh that much and as in your pic you have plenty of weight on the tongue...
New to towing?...one tip if the trailer starts to sway, don't hit the brakes, instead if the trailer has brakes use the brake controller to add some braking to the trailer only, if not still don't hit the brake, try speeding up just a little then backing off the throttle easy to get you speed back down...
